Mirage Online is written in Visual Basic 6.0 using DirectX 7.1 for its
graphics engine. It uses the Microsoft Winsock Component SP5 for the
network interface. The game was first tested before the client was ever
made. How this was accomplished was you could log into the server using
a telnet client and send packets to test everything to see if it worked.
My big tester during this phase was Mog7. The game was officially put up
November 1st, 2001 and I'm glad to see its popularity gained. :) Here is a list of the current admins:
Mappers: Rolphy Developers: Wolfguard, Shini, Demonic Creator: Consty Mappers create maps using npcs/shops/items already made. Developers create maps, and can make new npcs/shops and items. Creator is just me, Consty. :) We are not hiring any new admins, so please dont ask. |
